Announcement of the 2nd Conference on Construction and Building Research (14th-16th November, Valencia, Spain)
Dear Colleague,
I am pleased to bring to your attention the 2nd International Conference on Construction and Building Research (COINVEDI 2012), to be held in Valencia, Spain, from November 14th-16th 2012. Researchers and practitioners willing to participate to the COINVEDI 2012 conference are invited to submit papers of original work addressing the following subjects and research themes:
- Materials and construction systems
- Building technologies
- Energy and sustainability
- Heritage, rehabilitation and maintenance
- Building construction management.
Authors should also indicate their preference for either an ORAL or a POSTER PRESENTATION, IN ENGLISH OR SPANISH; certain material is more suitable for poster presentations, due to the details that need to be studied and discussed in more depth.
The conference accepts only original, unpublished work written in English which will be peer-reviewed. The submission process is made up of three steps: (1) Pre-registration (2) Full paper submission and (3) Notification of acceptation/rejection.
The important deadline dates are:
- June 1st, 2012: Deadline for pre-registration
- July 1st, 2012: Deadline for the submission of the full paper
- September 7th, 2012: Deadline for the acceptance/rejection notification
- October 1st, 2012: Deadline for registration

El 2º Congreso Internacional de Investigación en Edificación (COINVEDI 2012) se celebrará del 14 al 16 de noviembre de 2012 en la Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingeniería de Edificación, Universitat Politècnica de València. Los investigadores o profesionales interesados en participar en COINVEDI 2012 pueden enviar sus artículos originales, indicando en cuál de los siguientes temas está incluido su trabajo:
· Materiales y sistemas constructivos
- Tecnología de la construcción
- Energía y Sostenibilidad
- Patrimonio, Rehabilitación y Mantenimiento
- Gestión de la Edificación
Los autores también deberán indicar en el envío si prefieren realizar una PRESENTACIÓN ORAL O TIPO POSTER EN INGLÉS O EN CASTELLANO, ya que ciertos tipos de investigaciones son más susceptibles de ser expuestas de una forma u otra.
El Congreso solo aceptará trabajos originales escritos en ingles, que serán revisados por dos miembros del Comité Científico. El envío consta de tres pasos: (1) Preinscripción; (2) Envío del artículo y (3) Notificación de aceptación o rechazo.
Las fechas límite importantes son:
- 1 de Junio, 2012: Fecha límite para la preinscripción
- 1 de Julio, 2012: Fecha límite para el envío de artículos
- 7 de Septiembre, 2012: Fecha límite para la notificación de aceptación o rechazo
- 1 de Octubre, 2012: Fecha límite para la inscripción
